• About Us

Evolving into the Earth Healing Alliance is the next chapter in our journey, building directly upon the foundation laid by ONE MORE SALARY. Following the strategic dissolution of ONE MORE SALARY in 2025, this transition was essential to focus our mission exclusively on ecological restoration and to secure the institutional longevity our work requires. More importantly, it marks our commitment to becoming a truly local institution. By anchoring our governance in Tanzania, we have moved beyond the international project model to become an organization owned and led from within. This ensures that the networks and expertise we have cultivated over the years are not just preserved, but are actively propelled by a team that is culturally and geographically embedded in the landscapes we serve. ONE MORE SALARY was a nonprofit organization established in Sweden 2017 and Tanzania 2019. Under ONE MORE SALARY, a number of projects were conducted including Regenerative Agroforestry, Farmer Managed Natural Regeneration, Assited Natural Regeneration, Tree Planting and Beekeeping.

EARTH HEALING ALLIANCE was launched in 2026 as a dedicated Tanzanian non-profit organization to bridge the gap between ecological restoration and human resilience. Purporseful, building on the legacy of ONE MORE SALARY with different name but same mission.

    Core Approach

EARTH HEALING ALLIANCE is grounded in the conviction that environmental stewardship is inseparable from human well-being. We utilize a trauma-informed framework to address the psychological and social impacts of climate change, empowering youth, women, and marginalized groups to lead transformative change in ecosystem restoration and food systems.

    Our Strategic Pillars

    • Ecological Restoration: We collaborate with local communities to rehabilitate degraded landscapes, scale reforestation, regenerative agroforestry, and soil health initiatives rebuilding soil organic matter, water cycles, and biodiversity that help transforming food systems to be more sustainable and improve livelihoods.
    • Nutritional Sovereignty: Eliminating "hidden hunger" through dietary diversity and chemical-free production.
    • Economic Liberation: Freeing farmers from the debt cycle of hybrid seeds and synthetic fertilizers.
    • Trauma-Informed Education: By integrating trauma-responsive strategies into our programs, we cultivate trauma healing and emotional resilience alongside ecological literacy.
    • Action on Climate Education: Through school programs and inclusive community dialogues, we equip students with the practical tools needed for climate adaptation and long-term mitigation.

  • Nature Thrives

We envision a world where ecosystems flourish, and biodiversity is preserved, allowing nature to thrive in harmony with human existence.

    Healing Trauma

Our goal is to create pathways for healing for individuals and communities affected by trauma, fostering resilience and mental well-being.

    Unity and Harmony

We aspire to cultivate a society where all communities coexist peacefully, celebrating diversity and working together towards sustainable solutions.
